We manually perform each education verification background check. First we verify that the provided applicants’ previous education contact information is correct. Then we make three attempts (one per business day for three consecutive business days) to establish contact with the applicants’ previous school (college, university or other educational institution). The price range is from $15 to $20 per education verification background check and an additional $10 fee will apply to orders when we are required to use The National Student Clearinghouse. We offer volume discount pricing and package discounts for monthly billing accounts.

Education Verification: With the Education Verification Background Check we attempt to verify the name of the applicant’s school, the dates they attended, their graduation date, their GPA, and their major and degree.

Before you can order an education verification background check, you must be approved for a monthly billing account. Since this is an add-on service only, you must first place a criminal background check prior to an education verification. When placing your criminal background check order, you will need to enter the Name, DOB, SSN, and Address of the person you are screening. After the criminal background check order is completed, you must email or fax the applicant/employee signed consent form and additional applicant information.
